I offer personalised continuity of care. Whilst every pregnancy is different, core components of a full package of care usually includes :
You may choose to give birth by planned caesarean and want the reassurance of knowing who will be performing your caesarean in advance. This typically includes an antenatal appointment at around 36 weeks to plan your preferences (for example early skin to skin contact with your baby, delayed cord clamping, natural or gentle caesarean) and a postnatal appointment.
These can be arranged in the antenatal or postnatal period on a one-off basis or as part of an antenatal care only package.
Whilst most private obstetric care is booked in early pregnancy, booking later in pregnancy may be possible. Different schedules of care incur different fees and the fee may be adjusted dependent upon the number of weeks of pregnancy at the time of booking and the level of care required.
A non-refundable deposit is payable within 7 days to secure your booking. The remaining balance is payable at intervals during your pregnancy and paid in full by the 34th week.
If your fees are paid through insurance please contact them and provide a pre-authorisation code and letter of guarantee before your booking appointment. Please check your policy fully covers both obstetric consultant fees and hospital fees as any shortfall will become your responsibility.
If you have limited insurance cover this should be used initially for your hospital fees and you will be invoiced as a self-funding patient. Documentation required to claim back any remaining insurance allowance can be provided for you.
